This Privacy Policy applies to the JigShare website (https://jigshare.com), the JigShare mobile application, and any related services. We do not sell your personal information, and we only share information as described in this Privacy Policy.
When you use our website, JigShare may collect:
Images or content you upload to create and share puzzles.
Contact information if you communicate with us (such as email).
Technical data including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed.
Cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising.
When you use the JigShare app, we may collect the following, where applicable to the features you use:
Account information — if you sign in (e.g. email or username associated with your account).
User content — images, video, or other content you upload to create and share puzzles.
App activity — interactions such as creating puzzles, likes, comments, and other engagement with content.
Device information — such as device type, operating system version, and unique identifiers, to support the app and troubleshoot issues.
IP address — in connection with requests to our servers.
App usage and diagnostics — such as how you use the app and, if applicable, crash or error reports to improve stability.
We only collect data that is necessary for the features we offer. Sign-in uses the username (or email) you register with, through our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito).
To operate, maintain, and improve the JigShare service.
To process uploaded content and deliver features.
To monitor usage, security, and performance.
To display advertisements and measure ad performance.
JigShare uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the service working, understand how it is used, and display ads. Users can control cookies through their browser settings.
JigShare displays advertisements and sponsored content. These may be provided by Google (including Google AdSense) and by other third-party advertising partners, sponsors, or brands.

The JigShare app may request certain permissions only when needed for specific features. These may include, depending on the version and features:
Internet — required to load content, sync data, and communicate with our servers.
Camera — when you record video or take photos in the app to create puzzles.
Photos / media / storage — when you choose images or video from your device to create puzzles.
Notifications — we do not currently send push notifications. If we add them in the future, you can control them in app or device settings.
You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Revoking a permission may limit or disable related features.
We may use third-party service providers to support app functionality, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, hosting, and security. These may include services such as Google Play services and authentication providers (e.g. Amazon Cognito for sign-in). Each provider processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and our agreements with them.
The exact list of SDKs and third-party services in the app should be reviewed against the built app and kept in sync with the Google Play Data Safety section before each release.
JigShare does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with:
Service providers and vendors that support hosting, analytics, advertising, security, and app functionality.
Advertising and analytics partners (such as Google) for ad delivery, reporting, and measurement.
Authorities when legally required or to protect rights, safety, and compliance obligations.

Some advertising or analytics partners may collect data independently in accordance with their own privacy policies. Our disclosures here are intended to align with our actual practices and with the Google Play Data Safety form where applicable.
Images are stored securely and used only to provide JigShare features.
Shared links may be accessible to anyone with the link.
JigShare does not publish uploaded images unless you choose to share them.
JigShare retains information only as long as necessary to operate the service and meet legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it where feasible.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data through our account deletion page: https://jigshare.com/delete-account, or by contacting us (see Contact below). We will process requests in line with applicable law. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove or anonymise your personal information; user-generated content you have already shared (e.g. public puzzle links) may remain available until we remove it in the ordinary course of operations or in response to a valid request.

Our website and app are not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
